Hello everyone! Since summer is ending fairly soon I wanted to share this Banana Ice Cream recipe with you guys before it was over. You can eat ice cream any time of the year, but there’s just something about having it on a summer night that makes it more special. Am I right?
Anyways, this “ice cream” could possibly be one of the easiest desserts you could ever make in your life. I’m not joking either. It’s so simple, easy and quick to make it’s crazy.
What You Need:
Frozen bananas 4-5 (depending on how much you want)
Milk- 1/4 to 1/2 a cup (depending on the consistency you want)
First thing you’ll want to do is get some bananas and freeze them. I use bananas that are really ripe-which rarely happens since my dad eats like 5 bananas a day (I’m not joking, this post is all serious today people).
You can put them in the freezer the night before, for a few hours or just keep some in for a few days, it doesn’t really matter, they just need to be frozen.
After the bananas are frozen you just put them in the food processor with some milk and pulse them. Keep pulsing the fruit until it starts to be more of a mash. Leave it on until the bananas turn into a puree and resembles ice cream. You’ll have to add some more milk to have them be smoother, it’s kind of similar to making mashed potatoes.
After the ice cream is made you can serve it right away, or put it back in the freezer for later. You can also top it off with some sprinkles like we did, or put hot fudge, caramel, or strawberry syrup on top, really anything you want. Go crazy!
Of course no ice cream would be a complete without a super cute bowl set. Hannah got this from Pick Your Plum, but some regular bowls will be just as good.
That’s it for this dessert and I hope ya’ll enjoyed it!
