Pumpkin Spice Mini Donuts Recipe

We don’t know about you, but we love donuts. It’s the perfect thing to have on a cold evening with a hot cup of coffee. Since we’re such huge fans, we decided to experiment with making our own little pumpkin spice cake donuts! They turned out pretty sweet (pun intended) and it was pretty easy thanks to our Babycakes Donut Maker. If you guys don’t have one, you should seriously get it. It makes making donuts ultra easy; we love it!

Here’s what you need to make your own;

(Makes about 30 Mini Donuts)

2 cups Flour
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
2 Eggs

3/4 cup Canned Pumpkin
1/2 Cup Dulce de Leche
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 Stick of Melted Butter
1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice

The first thing you want to do is mix together the dry ingredients and walnuts in a bowl. separately whisk together 2 eggs, canned pumpkin, sour cream, melted butter, and brown sugar. Mix together the dry and wet ingredients.

Once you have your mix together, you can up your Babycakes maker. It only takes about a minute to warm up. Put your batter in a piping bag, or a Ziploc bag, and pipe the mix in the maker. We found that this made a lot less mess, and was easier to handle, instead of just pouring it.

Close the lid and let the machine do its magic. Once it’s done your donuts out and let cool. Repeat these steps until you use all of the batter.

Once your donuts are nice and cool, you can sprinkle them with some melted butter, and some cinnamon sugar to really up the flavor.
