Hey guys! Hello and welcome to the fourth edition of The Morning Brew – with the BFF’s! If you’re one of our email subscribers (which you totally should be!) then you know that we love sharing our weekly favorites as well as a little bit about what we’ve been up to during the week when we weren’t blogging. It’s a lot of fun for sure! Well, now we’ve decided to expand this by starting a weekly post on Monday morning’s. We’ll be sharing little bits of our weeks, rants and rambles, as well as some of the things that we’re loving. So grab a nice cup o’ Joe (or tea) and chat with us this morning. Feel free to leave a comment, and share about your past week as well. We’d love to hear what everyone’s been up to. How are you preparing for Spring? Have you done any spring cleaning or gardening yet?
π
Here are a few of the things that we just couldn’t get enough of this week:
Lorde – I know I’m a little late on the Lorde trend, but I started to listen to her album this week, and can’t stop. I like it because it’s easy to listen to but still upbeat so it keeps me awake when I’m doing homework. Lol
White Oxfords– If you guys saw our post where we showed different shoes on a budget and I wore those white Oxford shoes. I’ve been wearing them nonstop since, they’re so comfortable and I love the white pop they add to my outfit. And they’re not getting as dirty as I thought they would’ve. Ha
Gardening!– I’ve been really going crazy with my gardening and getting my flower beds looking beautiful for the spring and summer months. I always love planting new things, and I even made this little tower bed for my porch. I may spray paint the pots next year, but for now I’m fine with it like this.
Here’s a look at what we were up to when we weren’t blogging!
Sara –
This week has been an interesting/chaotic one. I graduate in less than two weeks so now it’s crunch time so I feel business than ever, but I’m making it!
I also had time to get my hair cut, and I got it cut! I was wanting a change and decided host to go for a shorter cut, but I really really like it. It feels way healthier and lighter. Plus it’s easier to wash which I’m a fan of. Lol
Hannah –
As I said before I’ve been working on my gardening this week on my days off. I went to get some flowers and went crazy on my porch! I actually found a lot of great deals at Big Lots, Menards, and Dollar Tree on decor and plants. I think it looks pretty cute. How about you guys?
Here are some blog posts that really inspired us this week!
We’ve been really watching the whole smoothie bowl craze that seems to be popular lately, and our girl Angie made this post to give everyone the 411. Plus she’s including some great recipes so you can get on the smoothie bowl train!
Our friend Nessa’s article on Snapchat and why you should be using it is amazing. It sums up everything that we love about Snapchat and the community. If you’ve been on the fence about it, or are skeptical, you should give this post a read.
We thought this was such a great idea! Everyone wants some fancy galvanized tubs for their cookouts and gatherings, but they can be so expensive! Stephanie made an awesome DIY version with Dollar Tree tubs. I can’t even tell they’re not metal!
This is a perfect DIY mothers day gift, not to mention a fun thing to make for yourself!
Well that’s all for us this week guys! We hope that you all have a wonderful rest of the week, and that you join us here on The Morning Brew again next week!

We do! haha! It was a great article!
I love those white oxfords so much! I am ready to get out and plant some flowers in the pots on my deck!
You should! They add so much wonderful color to your porch π
Wow! Lots to read and some great ideas!
Sounds like you guys are having a blast! I love your ideas! Thanks for sharing with us on Throwback Thursday!
