Sunrise Smoothie Bowl & Iced Coffee with Try the World

Hallå everyone! That’s Swedish for hello! Why are we talking swedish? Because we got our new Try the World box, and this month’s country is Sweden! So far we’ve been to some amazing countries -through food of course – and we love what we’ve had so far. You can check out some of the other boxes PortugalSpain, Holiday, and Thailand. You can also see how you can save 15% off a regular subscription to Try the World, or store items at the end of this post!

Our Swedish box came with a lot of goodies as our boxes always do. This box had a lot of sweets, and things that you can use to make a great traditional Swedish dessert, or use in your own desserts at home. Our favorite item from this month’s box was the Kharisma Coffee. Naturally, as huge coffee fans, we were gravitated to it. We loved that it was a nice, dark, strong coffee that really perked us up in the morning. We liked a lot of the other items in the box as well, including the Elderflower syrup, Double Chocolate Crisps, and Lingonberry Preserves.

The culture guide that they included was really great because it walked through how to make your own Smörgåsbord, with some great recipes. They also have additional recipes on their site that you can use as well. That’s one of the things we really like about Try the World. Even if you’re new to a type of cuisine or what to make with the items, they’ll totally help you out. The culture guide not only says more about the country but more about the products, if they are from a family business, organic etc.

For the iced coffee, you can just brew this the way that you normally would brew your coffee. We used the instructions on the package to make ours and it turned out great! Once you brew your coffee, you can sit it in the fridge (or freezer) to chill. We recommend even making it the night before so that it’s ready to go in the morning. Once your coffee is chilled, add ice, creamer of your choice, and about 2 Tbsp. of caramel syrup. That’s all for that!
