Hey guys! Lately I’ve been experimenting a lot with mix n’ match patterns and finding new and exciting ways to wear common patterns. It’s also no secret that I love florals, and I love finding new ways to incorporate them into my look. (See my post dedicated to all the florals!) They’re so great for this time of year where it’s getting warmer, plus, a great floral can really brighten up your outfit.

Wearable Wednesday: Mix n' Match

Just because you like florals, doesn’t mean you have to dress like an old lady! You can step up your floral game and make a floral pattern more modern and less old couch, with a great pattern match. That’s why I paired my skirt with this great black and white striped top. The graphic pattern of the black and white really updates the whole look and takes it away from looking grandma- ish.

Having killer accessories help too! I used my bright geometric statement necklace to balance the color of my look and really add a modern accessory. I also added my cropped military cardigan – because it was cold outside! lol. It also helps to break up the patterns in my look and not have so much going on. Basically it’s all about balance, when you mix n’ match your patterned look.

I hope this inspired you guys to go out that and mix n’ match some patterns of your own!

Let me know, what our your favorite patterns to mix? or do you hate mixing patterns?
