If you’re familiar at all with a lot of my Wearable Wednesday looks, I tend to go for the brights. I own a ton of bright jeans and tops. This week I’m sharing my Casual Purple look, that I wore for an afternoon out with my friends Sara, and Clark. I just love wearing color, especially in the spring and summer.
We were at this lovely cafe in Chillicothe called Paper City Coffee. (You’ll see more of it in an upcoming post) It’s a coffee shop we tend to frequent when we need a boost of caffeine, or just a place to relax and have a snack. They have some wonderful people working there, and they fund a great community cause. A portion of proceeds goes to helping & mentoring kids in the community, which we think is totally awesome.
While I know I’m basically wearing an all purple outfit (minus the cardigan, shoes, and necklace) I think there’s nothing wrong with monochrome, as long as it’s done right. Even though I’m wearing a lot of purple, I’m wearing 3 different shades, which makes it less overwhelming. I don’t want to knock anyone down with color, at least not today.
🙂
Like I said I kept this look pretty casual. The jeggings you can still find over at Torrid(on sale for $22.38!) The cardigan, tank, and shoes I’ve had for a while and are unavailable. The necklace is a twin to the one I featured on my last Wearable Wednesday. I told you guys I had it in several colors… lol What can I say? When I find a good statement necklace I go all in.
Well I hope you guys are having a wonderful week. Be sure to check out the Wearable Wednesday participants below, and our Pinterest board for more outfit ideas!

Our featured look this week is Kim over at Champagneista! I love this dress on her. It’s so cute and the little pom pom detailing makes it super fun! Plus off the shoulder tops and dresses have been so popular already this season!

you look lovely in purple! love your shoes too!
Thank you so much Tianna!
Now this is a monochromatic version I can wrap my head around!! I think the stripes are the factor that do it for me—they break up the color!

I love the shades of purple – the mix of bold purple stripes and pastel purple. I had just read about how that is a big design trend for 2017. Thanks so much for joining the Fabulous Friday Link Up.
