It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, so of course you have to have your green game strong so you can stay pinch free! Well, I typically own almost nothing green, and in fact, this dark army type green is about as close as I get. I don’t know why, but for some reason I hate most green colors on me. I know, I’m a weirdo.
Still I decided to get my St. Patricks Day style on with my almost appropriately bright green color. This is a great way to style if you’re going more subtle and don’t want to go all out on the green and look like a walking shamrock. I paired this top with my orange/redish colored jeggings from Torrid (now only $16.79!) and this orange necklace & earring set I recently got from Cents of Style. I finished it all out with these black ballet flats from Torrid.
How are you spending St. Patrick’s Day

Our featured look this week is Greetje who is a guest over at Nancy’s Fashion Style. She’s going through her evolution of style and I really enjoyed going through the journey with her! The look featured below is one of my favorites she featured.

That top is just beautiful! And the necklace is perfect with it!
Thank you Nancy! I have that same necklace set in several colors now. I’m obsessed!
I love that you’re wearing a sequin top!! What a fabulous way to celebrate the holiday.
And green comes in all shades, so you’re good!

Thank you Jodie! Yep, the sparkles make up for my lack of bright green lol. 😀
I don’t have much green in my closet either. This is such a cute look! I love your sequin top!

Thank you! The more sequins the better, eh?
Oh, I love the dark green sparkles! So pretty. And it is so good paired with the brighter color pants! Definitely a fabulous take on St. Patty’s Day green!

Thank you Shelbee! 🙂
super cute outfit! I love the pop of pink/coral 🙂 so nice for spring!
Thank you so much Tianna!
You look fabulous! I love that top. Anything that sparkles is good in my book! I’m not a big fan of green either. I’ll do some olive and the new Greenery color from Pantone seems to work pretty good with my complexion, but I just never gravitate to green. Thanks for sharing and for hosting the link up! – Amy

Thank you! Yes I agree I love the sparkles! The Greenery color I do actually like, but I have yet to buy anything that shade lol.
I totally concur- I don’t like most shades of green on me either!
Yes! For some reason they look odd on me. I love the green skirt with the pink top you did tho Joi!

According to all the above comments, I am in the minority, as I Love green – the bolder the better. You look so fabulous in this gorgeous sequined top! Such a a great pairing with the colorful jean.
You always completely ROCK the green too Jennie! Thank you 🙂
You had me at sparkle, and then the pink sealed everything up nicely 🙂
haha thank you! I totally agree! 😉
Not sure about green on me either. But I’m totally loving this sparkly top on you! Thanks for sharing your personal style and hosting the linkup as well 🙂
Aw thank you so much Kishina! Thanks for stopping by!
Green of every shade counts! I’ve been wearing a lot of this bright minty-jade color. It’s not your typical shamrock green, but it’s definitely my type of green! I like that your color combination is unexpected for St. Patrick’s Day and is more about making the holiday align with your style than the other way around. Have a great weekend!
