Hey ladies!
So for this weeks WW we decided to switch things up a little. Mostly because it was freezing outside the past few days. So we thought we would share with you ladies (and guys πŸ˜‰ some of our favorite beauty things that we like to use to keep our skin soft so it doesn’t get all dry and crackly. That’s not cute.

Winter Skin Essentials

I love the Aussie moist 3 minute miracle conditioner for my hair. My hair is already dry, and with the heat I’ll put on it and the cold wind just makes it worse. This stuff helps to replenish the moisture in your hair and make it all soft, plus it’s really inexpensive which I love because I go through conditioner like nobody’s business.

The Neutrogna Fast Absorbing hand cream is one of the best hand creams I’ve used in my life. I’m always washing my hands and can’t stand it when they’re dry. This hand cream is really nice because it helps to give back the moisture my hands loose.

During the winter I like to switch to a bar soap because it’s more moisturizing rather than a body wash. I like to use soaps with ingredients that have Shea butter, or oils in them. I usually like to get soaps from TJ Maxx because they’re pretty inexpensive. This Loccitane bar soap looks pretty nice because it has Shea butter in it and it’s a good brand.

For a lip balm I like to use the C.O. Bigelow lemon Lip Cream because it smells really good. It is a bit pricier than a tube of Chap Stick, but to me it’s more moisturizing than a regular lip balm, so I think it’s worth.

For lotion I like to use the Nivea lotion because it smells really good. And it’s really moisturizing, but I’ll be honest the main reason I use it is because of the smell. Lol

Hannah’s Picks!

For me, winter is all about the moisturizing! It really bums me out when my skin is try and itchy, that’s why my list is full of wonderful moisturizing ingredients to help your skins survive the cold months.
1. Caress Velvet Bliss Body Wash is the best thing. I love the formula with the silky texture and beads. It really gives your skin a boost of hydration and isn’t harsh like some other body washes can be. I also really like the smell of this one, It’s really smooth and feminine.
2. For something that will help exfoliate and moisturize your face I love this Fabulous Foaming Face Wash from Bliss. For me it has the right balance of exfoliation and moisture that makes my skin feel clean & fresh.
3. Chapped lips are a super bummer for the cold weather, and my favorite remedy for this is the C.O. Bigelow Lip Balm from Bath & Body Works. They don’t have any online at the moment but they do usually care varieties in store. I like the lip balm one’s because its not as sticky as the gloss, and wears with pretty much anything you have.
4. I love Bliss’s Triple Oxygen + C Energizing cream because it gives your dull skin a boost and also infuses it with vitamin C to keep it healthy & moisturized. (hint: I frequently find Bliss products like these on sale for a fraction of the cost at TJ Maxx, so maybe stop there and see if they have some in stock before shelling out the big bucks!)
5. The True Blue Spa Shea Cashmere Body Cream from Bath & Body Works is wonderful for any dry skin. Its thick and moisturizing, but it also smells wonderful! It’s definitely a great lotion during the cold weather, and makes you feel luxurious too!
6. Last but not least, I think its really important to have a great winter fragrance. I’m currently loving this one from Bath & Body Works called Sugar Plum Dream! It has some really sweet notes in it such as pomegranate, flower, and vanilla. I definitely like it for a nice, light, sweet smelling winter scent.
